I-90 Variable Speed Limit Signs

http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/I90/TwoWayTransit/vsl.htm Project, mostly complete, that will  add VMS and Variable Speed Limit signs to I-90. The signs are intended to slow down traffic before entering heavy congestion. The speed limit signs are already live.

Stimulus Money Bypasses Bridges

From KOMO 4: http://www.komonews.com/news/local/52191837.html Not much of the stimulus money is going to bridge repair despite the large amount of work that needs to be done. This is mostly because of the fact that bridges take a long time to get up to speed.

Sound Transit Isn’t Listening

Suit Filed to Stop Light Rail On the I-90 Bridge
