First I-5 Carpool Lane in Pierce County to Open

The Northbound HOV Lane on Interstate 5 North through Fife may open Saturday, October 2nd if the weather holds.
This means the I-5 Port of Tacoma Road to King County Line HOV Project is almost complete. It also means carpools and buses can enter the carpool lanes right outside of Tacoma and travel all the way to Seattle.
