From WSDOT: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/News/2010/12/WSDOTPreparesForNextStorm.htm WSDOT has converted eight pickup trucks into mini sanders for the next major snowstorm. The idea is that the pickups are more maneuverable, and can get into tighter areas easier than the fullsize pickups. We will see if this works, if it snows again… Ben

This is great news, as this section of SR 520 is always heavily congested. Now all we need is the completion of the Eastside Corridor and the new SR 520 Floating Bridge and we’ll be set. Ben
