$30 Car Tab Fee to Save Public Transit?

A proposal has been floated to add a $30 car tab fee to temporarily support struggling transit agencies.
I know the addition of fees are unpopular but this is one that would benefit all. Sales taxes are an unreliable funding source. Even if you don’t use public transportation, taking all those cars off the road will help your commute as well.
