New York Comes to Charlotte

From Ogilvy & Mather: http://www.ogilvy.com/News/Press-Releases/April-2011-Ogilvy-Brings-New-York-to-Charlotte-NC.aspx To support same-day access to films at the TriBeCa Film Festival, ad agency Ogilvy created a 1:1 scale replica of a New York City subway station entrance. They then placed it in the Wells Fargo Atrium. My question is…are they auctioning it off when they’re done with it? Ben

Shameless Plug

Last Fall I was contacted by Original Productions, producers of shows like Deadliest Catch, regarding using my photos of the Alaskan Way Viaduct in an upcoming show. I of course agreed. Well now that show will be on this Sunday at 10 PM on the History Channel. It is called “Inspector America” and the episode [...]

It is therefore recommended to purchase one of the more expensive transponders only available online or at the state’s service center. Tho [...]

Bill Allows Private Vendors at Park and Rides

From The Seattle Times: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2014836432_parkandride22.html The bill would allow leases for private vendors at area park and rides. Money from the leases would be used for operations at the lots, and any extra would go to the states Multimodal Transportation Account. This could be a good thing, as many park and rides have few or [...]

Interstate 90 Light Rail Opponents Lose Case

From The Seattle Times: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2014835731_kemper22m.html The opponents to running light rail down the Interstate 90 express lanes to Bellevue have lost a major court case, tho they intend to fight on. I say, if the Powers that Be in Bellevue are so against light rail, let’s run it down the new 520 bridge and corridor. [...]
