Washington Inspecting Steel Bridges

WSDOT is reviewing inspection reports of 10 bridges built with the same kind of steel as the Sherman Minton bridge in Indiana. This bridge was recently found to have cracks.
It is good to see WSDOT being proactive in cases like this. We don’t want to see another Silver Bridge disaster here.
