Metro Transit Getting New Trolley Buses

The 2012 King County budget provides money to replace 155 electric trolley buses used in and around Seattle. The buses will also have a limited off-wire capability, something the current fleet doesn’t have.
These buses were designed for hills like the ones seen in Seattle and with the hydro and wind power we have available in the Northwest, they are also green.
