Floatplane Dock on the Foss?

A floatplane dock has been proposed at the mouth of the Foss Waterway.
This would be an interesting addition to the areas transportation network. Currently most floatplanes operate out of Seattle, either on Lake Union or Lake Washington. Adding a dock to the Foss would allow floatplane users to access downtown and its shops and museums.
Wonder if they also might offer flights to the San Juans or Lake Chelan.
