Ground Breaking on West Coast Electric Highway

Construction begins in Bellingham on the state’s first rapid charging station for electric vehicles. This is part of the West Coast Electric Highway project, an effort to create a chain of these charging stations, ensuring that electric vehicles will be able to travel for long distances.
While a good idea, I am still not fully convinced that electric vehicles, as they are designed today, are really suited for long distance travel. But we will see.
